# Embedded Editor Branding

Make the Templated embedded editor look like part of your product (white label). Branding is set on the Embedded Editor page of the dashboard. You can hide parts of the interface with URL parameters.

## Branding options in the dashboard

1. Go to https://app.templated.io/embed
2. Open the appearance section.
3. Set the options below and save.

| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Your Logo | Your logo in the top-left corner of the editor, instead of the Templated logo. Ideal size 100x100 px. PNG, JPG or GIF. |
| Logo Link | Optional. Where users go when they click your logo. Must start with `https://` or `http://`. Leave it empty if the logo should not be a link. |
| Accent Color | Color of buttons, links and highlights. Default `#1677ff`. |
| Interface Color | Background of the header and sidebar. |
| Text Color | Main color of the interface text. |
| Color Presets | Ready-made combinations of accent, interface and text colors. |
| Custom Loader | Your own loading animation while the editor loads. Ideal size 128x128 px. GIF supported. |

Colors are set only in the dashboard. There are no URL parameters for colors.

## Interface options in the URL

Add these to the embed URL:

| `hide-header=true` | Hides the top header bar (logo, template name and buttons) |
| `hide-sidebar=true` | Hides the left sidebar |
| `hide-tabs=qr-code,barcode,rating` | Hides some sidebar tabs (text, images, videos, shapes, vectors, uploads, qr-code, barcode, rating) |
| `hide-layers-panel=true` | Hides the layers panel |
| `hide-language-toggle=true` | Hides the language switcher |
| `language=es` | Sets the editor language (en, pt, es, fr, de, nl, zh, cs, ja) |
| `hide-canvas-background=true` | Removes the dotted background so the area around the canvas matches your page |
| `hide-save-button=true` | Hides the Save button (you can save with your own button) |

## Custom CSS

The editor runs inside an iframe, so your website's CSS cannot change its look, and custom CSS is not supported. Use the dashboard branding options and the URL parameters above.

## White-label checklist

1. Upload your logo and set the logo link.
2. Set your accent, interface and text colors.
3. Upload a custom loader (optional).
4. Add your allowed domains (Domain Settings).
5. Hide the language switcher and tabs you do not need.
6. Upload your brand fonts to your Templated account so they are available in the editor.
7. Set a webhook URL if your backend needs to know when users save or download.

## Requirements

- Production use of the embedded editor requires the Scale or Enterprise plan. On Free and Starter, the editor shows an "integration preview" message. Upgrade: https://app.templated.io/upgrade
- The editor only loads on the domains you add in Domain Settings. For localhost and local files, turn on Allow Development Environment.

## FAQ

Q: Can I remove the Templated logo?
A: Yes. Upload your own logo on the Embedded Editor page. It replaces the Templated logo.

Q: Can I change the editor colors?
A: Yes, on the Embedded Editor page: Accent Color, Interface Color and Text Color, or pick a Color Preset.

Q: Can I set colors in the URL?
A: No. Colors are set only in the dashboard.

Q: Can I use my own CSS to style the editor?
A: No. The editor is in an iframe. Use the branding options and the `hide-` URL parameters.

Q: Can I change the loading animation?
A: Yes. Upload a Custom Loader (GIF supported, ideal 128x128 px).

Q: Can I give users a fixed color palette to choose from?
A: Not at the moment. You can share it as a feature request on https://feedback.templated.io.

Q: Which plan do I need for white-label embedding?
A: Scale or Enterprise.
