# Getting Started with Make (Integromat)

# Getting Started with Make (Integromat)

Connect Templated to Make to automate image generation in your workflows.

## Step 1: Install the Templated App

1. In your Make scenario, click **+ Add Module**
2. Search for **"Templated"**
3. Select the Templated app

## Step 2: Connect Your Account

1. Click **Create a connection**
2. Enter your **API Key** (find it at [API Integration](https://app.templated.io/integrations/api))
3. Click **Save**

## Step 3: Configure the Module

Choose an action:
* **Create a Render** — Generate an image/PDF/video
* **Get Templates** — List your templates
* **Get Template Layers** — Get layer info for a template

### Create a Render Configuration

1. Select your **Template ID** from the dropdown (or map dynamically)
2. Set the **Format** (jpg, png, pdf, mp4)
3. Configure **Layers**:
* Click **Add item**
* Enter the **Layer Name** (e.g., "title")
* Set properties like `text`, `color`, `image_url`

## Example Workflow

**Google Sheets → Templated → Google Drive**

1. **Google Sheets** — Watch for new rows
2. **Templated** — Create render using row data
3. **Google Drive** — Upload the generated image

## Tips

* Use the Playground to find exact layer names
* Map dynamic values from previous modules
* Set up error handling for failed renders
* Use the `name` field to organize output files
