All paid plans are monthly subscriptions. You can pay monthly or annually (annual billing is cheaper per month). They are included in your plan. - All paid plans include image (JPG, PNG, WebP), PDF and video (MP4) generation, the REST API, no-code integrations (Zapier, Make, n8n), MCP, webhooks, Canva import, the AI Template Generator, custom fonts and Google Fonts, folders and tags. ## Template limit The template limit is the number of templates you can have in your account at the same time. **What counts toward the limit:** - Templates you create in the editor. - Templates created with the AI Template Generator. - Templates imported from Canva, PSD or other importers. - Templates created through the API or MCP (AI assistants such as Claude or ChatGPT). - Duplicated (copied) templates that appear in your dashboard. **What does NOT count:** - **Clones.** Templates created with the clone endpoint or by the Embedded Editor with `clone=true` do not count toward your limit and do not show in your dashboard. See https://templated.io/docs/templates/clone/ - Deleted templates. **Where to see it:** Account Settings (https://app.templated.io/account) > Credits & Limits shows "X of Y templates created". If you see more templates than your limit (for example "16 of 15"), your account is over the limit. Your existing templates keep working and you can still render them, but you cannot create new templates until you delete some or upgrade. ## "Limit reached" messages | Message | What it means | What to do | |---|---|---| | "You've reached your template limit" | You have as many templates as your plan allows. | Delete templates you don't use, or upgrade. | | "You've reached your template limit. Upgrade your plan to create more templates." Upgrade your plan to generate more renders." | You have no render credits left this month. | Upgrade, or wait for the reset on the 1st. | | "HTML output format is only available on Enterprise plans." | You requested `format: "html"` on a plan without HTML export. | Use another format, or upgrade to Enterprise. | | "Embed access required" | Your plan does not include the Embedded Editor. | Upgrade to Scale or Enterprise. | | "Limit reached" on the Team page | You reached your plan's team member limit (pending invitations count too). | Remove a member, cancel a pending invite, or upgrade. | ## Embedded Editor - The Embedded Editor (white-label editor inside your own app) requires the **Scale** or **Enterprise** plan. - On the free trial or Starter you can test it, but it shows a preview bar and an "Embed access required" message. - Docs: https://templated.io/docs/embed/ ## HTML export - Rendering with `format: "html"` is available on **Enterprise** only. ## Template size - Templates can be from **100 x 100 px** up to **13,000 x 13,000 px**. - For print, convert inches to pixels: pixels = inches x DPI. For example 4 x 6 inches at 300 DPI = 1200 x 1800 px. You can also use the `scale` option when rendering. ## Rate limits and custom limits - API rate limits and rate limit increases are handled case by case by our team. Ask in the chat and a team member will help you. ## FAQ Q: How many templates can I have on each plan? A: Free trial 3, Starter 15, Scale 100, Enterprise unlimited. Q: How many credits does each plan include? A: Starter 1,000, Scale 5,000 and Enterprise 25,000 credits per month. The free trial includes 50 credits once. Q: How many team members can I add? A: Starter 2, Scale 5, Enterprise 20. There is no extra charge per member. Q: I got "You have reached the maximum number of templates" when generating with AI. Am I out of credits? A: No. That message means you reached your template limit. Delete templates or upgrade. Q: Do clones count toward my template limit? A: No. Clones created with the clone endpoint or the Embedded Editor do not count. Q: Do Canva imports and AI-generated templates count toward my template limit? A: Yes. Every template saved in your account counts, no matter how it was created. Q: Which plan do I need for the Embedded Editor? A: Scale or Enterprise. Q: Which plan includes HTML export?
