Getting Started with Make (Integromat)


Connect Templated to Make to automate image generation in your workflows.


Step 1: Install the Templated App


  1. In your Make scenario, click + Add Module
  2. Search for "Templated"
  3. Select the Templated app


Step 2: Connect Your Account


  1. Click Create a connection
  2. Enter your API Key (find it at API Integration)
  3. Click Save


Step 3: Configure the Module


Choose an action:

  • Create a Render — Generate an image/PDF/video
  • Get Templates — List your templates
  • Get Template Layers — Get layer info for a template


Create a Render Configuration


  1. Select your Template ID from the dropdown (or map dynamically)
  2. Set the Format (jpg, png, pdf, mp4)
  3. Configure Layers:
  • Click Add item
  • Enter the Layer Name (e.g., "title")
  • Set properties like text, color, image_url


Example Workflow


Google Sheets → Templated → Google Drive


  1. Google Sheets — Watch for new rows
  2. Templated — Create render using row data
  3. Google Drive — Upload the generated image


Tips


  • Use the Playground to find exact layer names
  • Map dynamic values from previous modules
  • Set up error handling for failed renders
  • Use the name field to organize output files
